Defensive Accuracy, LLC developed these classes to provide an opportunity for you to practice with our professional instructor cadre on the subject of using a gun for self-defense, both inside the home and when out carrying concealed. No two classes are alike and each month's focus is different.
This class is designed for students who have completed our Next Steps Pistol or our California CCW classes and provides a way to train in dynamic drills from the holster.
This class is 5 hours and is all range time, and is live-fire from the holster.
Each month will provide a new training topic and techniques. Our focus and emphasis is sharpening your application of the fundamentals of marksmanship, gun handling and manipulations, defensive accuracy, moving and adapting to environmental conditions, identifying threats and decision making to implement the best methods of engagement in a deadly event. This class will help you be better prepared to address a dynamic deadly encounter.
Classes are once a month generally and always on Sundays.
Age restriction: Class open to adults 21 years of age and older.
Required Equipment:
Handgun
Open top, Kydex, moulded strong-side belt holster. Holsters such as Blade-tech, Red Hill Tactical, etc.
(No Blackhawk Serpa holsters please).

Minimum 3 handgun magazines
Minimum one twin magazine belt carrier
200-250* rounds handgun practice ammo.
Ammo is not available for purchase day of class.
Eye protection with clear lenses
Electronic ear protection
Closed toe shoes with non-slip type soles (we are working on concrete)
Ballcap (recommended to deflect flying brass away from your face)
Personal hydration and snacks
No low-cut necklines
