This series includes all the prerequisites to become certified as an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and/or an NRA Certified Rifle Instructor. Only NRA Certified Instructors are eligible for Lockton Affinity's Instructor Plus Insurance.
Monday, July 22, 2024 – NRA Certified Basic Pistol – 8:30am to 6pm
This class is a mandatory prerequisite for the Wednesday NRA Certified Pistol Instructor course.
Tuesday, July 23, 2024 – NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) – 8:30am to 3pm
This class is a mandatory prerequisite for all new instructors or any current Instructors who are adding a new discipline that have not successfully completed BIT within the last 24 months.
Wednesday, July 24, 2024 – NRA Certified Pistol Instructor – 8:30am to 6pm
Prerequisites apply. Candidates must have successfully completed both NRA Certified Basic Pistol and NRA Basic Instructor Training (can be taken on Monday and Tuesday, respectively).
Thursday, July 25, 2024 – NRA Certified Basic Rifle– 8:30am to 6pm
This class is a mandatory prerequisite for the Friday NRA Certified Rifle Instructor course
Friday, July 26, 2024 – NRA Certified Rifle Instructor – 8:30am to 6pm
Prerequisites apply. Candidates must have successfully completed both NRA Basic Instructor Training and NRA Certified Basic Rifle and (Can be taken on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively).
