This series includes all the prerequisites to become certified as an NRA Certified Rifle Instructor.  Only NRA Certified Instructors are eligible for Lockton Affinity's Instructor Plus Insurance.

 

Monday, March 16, 2026 – NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) – 8am to 3pm     

This class is a mandatory prerequisite for all new instructors or any current Instructors who are adding a new discipline that have not successfully completed BIT within the last 24 months.

Tuesday, March 17, 2026 – NRA Certified Basic Rifle – 8am to 5pm

This class is a mandatory prerequisite for the Wednesday NRA Certified Rifle Instructor course.  This class may also be taken as a stand alone class.  

 

Wednesday, March 18, 2026 – NRA Certified Rifle Instructor – 8am to 5pm

Prerequisites apply.  Candidates must have successfully completed both NRA Basic Instructor Training and NRA Certified Basic Rifle (can be taken on Monday and Tuesday, respectively).

All Three Days Course Fee:  $450.
