This course includes the prerequisite Basic Personal Protection Inside the Home class on Saturday.  The Instructor Personal Protection Inside the Home class in on Sunday.

​Candidates must already possess the NRA Basic Pistol Instructor credential and must have successfully completed Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within the last 24 months.

​

We are also offering both Basic Personal Protection Outside the Home (August 1 & 2) and Instructor Personal Protection Outside the Home (August 15 & 16).

​

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

• Handgun (9mm or .38 caliber or larger).  Full size or compact recommended. 

• 2 magazines minimum

• 200 rounds ammo 

• Closed toe shoes

• Eye protection

• Electronic hearing protection (must be amplified).  We recommend Howard Leight or Walkers.

• Brimmed hat

• Notepad, pen and highlighter

• Laptop with charger

• Folding chair (optional)

• Sack Lunch

We will provide complimentary coffee, breakfast snacks and bottled water.
