Two prerequisites apply.  You must already be an NRA Pistol Instructor to attend this class.  You must have also successfully completed NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) within the last 24 months to be eligible to attend this class.​​​

We are also offering both Basic Personal Protection Outside the Home (August 1 & 2) and Instructor Personal Protection Outside the Home (August 15 & 16).

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

• Handgun (9mm or .38 caliber or larger).  Full size or compact recommended. 

• 2 magazines minimum

• 200 rounds ammo 

• Closed toe shoes

• Eye protection

• Electronic hearing protection (must be amplified).  We recommend Howard Leight or Walkers.

• Brimmed hat

• Notepad, pen and highlighter

• Laptop with charger

• Folding chair (optional)

• Sack Lunch

We will provide complimentary coffee, breakfast snacks and bottled water.
