ENROLLMENT IN THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES ADMITTANCE FOR ONE AT ALL OF THE FOLLOWING CLASSES (#1 THRU #3) PLUS ENROLLMENT IN EITHER THE NRA PERSONAL PROTECTION OUTSIDE THE HOME BASIC AND INSTRUCTOR CLASSES (OPTION 1) OR THE NRA CCW BASIC AND INSTRUCTOR CLASSES (OPTION 2).

11) Basic Instructor Training (BIT) - This is a six hour class.  This is a mandatory prerequisite for all new NRA Instructors​

2) NRA Basics of Personal Protection Inside the Home - This is a one day class.  This is a mandatory prerequisite for the rating of Instructor Personal Protection Inside the Home.

3) NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home Instructor  - This is a one-day class.  This is a mandatory rating to be eligible to attend the NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructor training.

CANDIDATES FOR THE SEVEN DAY PACKAGE CAN INCLUDE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:   

 

OPTION 1:  PPOH BASIC AND INSTRUCTOR

 

OR

 

OPTION 2: CCW BASIC AND INSTRUCTOR

 

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF EITHER OPTION 1 OR 2 WILL SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATION AS A CALIFORNIA DOJ CONCEALED CARRY WEAPONS INSTRUCTOR (CCW).  ONLY CALIF0RNIA DOJ CCW INSTRUCTORS CAN TEACH CCW CLASSES FOR CALIFORNIA.

OPTION 1:

NRA Basic & Advanced Personal Protection Outside the Home - This is a two-day course.  This is a mandatory prerequisite to be eligible to attend the NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructor course.

NRA Personal Protection Outside the Home Instructor - This is a two-day class.  Candidates must have successfully completed and hold the ratings of NRA Pistol Instructor and NRA PPIH Instrucdtor and must have completed BIT within the last 24 months.

OPTION 2; NRA Basic CCW.  This is a one-day class.  This is a mandatory prerequisite for attending the NRA CCW Instructor Course.

NRA CCW Instructor.  This is a two-day class.  This rating is eligible for certification at a CALIFORNIA DOJ CCW Instructor.

CALIFORNIA DOJ CCW INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION:

At the end of the last day of instructor training for either the CCW or the PPOH Instructor courses, candidates will be administered the DOJ CCW Instructor qualification, at no additional charge, and provided all necessary paperwork and instructions for filing for this credential.  The DOJ does not charge for the rating, only for the COE that is required.

DOJ Instructor Qualification and Certification - This is offered at no charge to candidates enrolled in this package.  We will administer the
